The Research and Innovation initiatives at the School of Management (MUSOM) are at the forefront of driving academic excellence and practical application in the field of business and management. MUSOM is dedicated to conducting impactful research that addresses pressing challenges faced by businesses and organizations globally, while also contributing to the advancement of knowledge in various domains of management.

MUSOM's faculty members are actively engaged in research across a wide spectrum of disciplines, including finance, marketing, operations, organizational behavior, strategy, and entrepreneurship. Their research is characterized by its rigor, relevance, and potential to influence both theory and practice. By collaborating with industry partners, governmental agencies, and non-profit organizations, MUSOM researchers ensure that their work has real-world implications and contributes to solving complex business problems.

In addition to faculty-led research, MUSOM supports and encourages student involvement in research activities. Graduate students often collaborate with faculty on research projects, gaining valuable experience and contributing to the academic community's body of knowledge. Undergraduate students also have opportunities to participate in research through seminars, independent studies, and research assistantships, fostering a culture of curiosity and intellectual inquiry.

MUSOM's commitment to innovation extends beyond research to encompass entrepreneurship and the application of research findings into practical solutions. The school supports entrepreneurial ventures through incubators, startup accelerators, and partnerships with industry leaders, enabling faculty and students alike to translate innovative ideas into viable business opportunities.

Furthermore, MUSOM actively promotes interdisciplinary research collaborations both within the university and with external institutions. By fostering a collaborative and inclusive research environment, MUSOM enhances its capacity to address complex societal challenges and contribute meaningfully to global discussions on management practices, policy-making, and sustainable development.
